If you have always thought that living in a small apartment is synonymous with darkness and lack of glamor, you could not be more confused. And what do we rely on to make such a statement? Well in this house of 37 square meters that he Lorente and Torrijos Arquitectos Studio just reformed in the heart of Madrid's Lavapiés neighborhood.

Before the intervention, the space was very badly used, with little storage and an impracticable bathroom separated by a load wall. The solution? A new distribution that takes advantage of every square centimeter, with more fluid separations (such as the glass enclosed partition that gives privacy to the kitchen and allows the installation of a dining room bar, without removing the feeling of spaciousness) and using custom designed furniture.

In addition, an interior design and decoration project was carried out to conceive such an environment chic as cozy with neutral colors dyed by sophisticated golden details, such as kitchen handles or bedroom lamps. The latter is undoubtedly the best example that size is not at odds with style. The headboard, with a geometric lattice, a convex mirror and two appliques with exquisite balloons, is surrounded by cabinets, achieving more storage space without subtracting an iota of elegance.
